The new Museum of Somerset at Taunton Castle opened on Thursday 29
September 2011 following a £6.93m redevelopment.
Amongst the treasures going on display for the first time will be the Frome
Hoard, the second largest collection of Roman coins ever discovered in
Britain, and which has recently been saved for the nation following a national
fundraising appeal.
Taunton Fabrications were pleased to have worked closely
with the main contractors in providing the structural glass balustrade and
secondary metalwork throughout.
